    I have read everything by King, and this story is right up at the top of his scariest things ever. I think I’ve read it more than any other of his stories (except for maybe The Raft and Mrs. Todd’s Shortcut. And oh, The Jaunt. All terrifying).

    And even though the movie got a bad rap, the black & white version was pretty scary — even with the crazy added ending.
