KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #26 – The Enraged Accompanist’s Guide to the Perfect Audition by Andrew Gerle

The Enraged Accompanist’s Guide to the Perfect Audition by Andrew Gerle

Great advice for those auditioning for musical theater.

THAT IS MY HALF CANNON, Y’ALL!  Here I was, certain to fail because of the wedding and the move, and I got it down with almost half the year left over.  That is magnificent.  Maybe next year I’ll aim for the full cannon.  I’m going to keep posting reviews here beyond the 26 I required of myself, cause why not.  We’ll see how far I get… 😉

An entertaining read

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #24 – Let’s Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir) by Jenny Lawson (The Bloggess)

Let’s Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir) by Jenny Lawson (The Bloggess)

Go get this book.  Now.  Go.  Read it.  You can thank me later.

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #23 – A Stir of Echoes by Richard Matheson

A Stir of Echoes by Richard Matheson

Feels like an episode of Outer Limits.  Skip it.

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #22 – Words Spoken True by Ann H. Gabhart

CBR IV Review #22 – Words Spoken True by Ann H. Gabhart

A not terrible, but totally skippable free read.

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #21 – Dunaway’s Crossing by Nancy Brandon

Dunaway’s Crossing by Nancy Brandon

A Kindle book I picked up for free, this is a great piece of historical fiction.  So far the only free book I’ve gotten that I would have paid for.

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #20 – The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts

The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts

A solid entry into this trilogy.  And Avery is my favorite.  Also, I totally plan to go stay at Inn Boonsboro.

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #17-19 – The Key Trilogy by Nora Roberts

The Key Trilogy by Nora Roberts

Another great series from Roberts!  And there’s only one more Nora Roberts review planned at present (her new book came out while I was reading this series).  After that, you’ll get some new material as I move away from her stuff for a bit!

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #11-16 – Irish Hearts Trilogy & The Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts

Irish Hearts Trilogy by Nora Roberts

Not her best, but as it’s her earliest work, I’ll forgive it.  Skip this.

The Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts

This was FANTASTIC.  A wonderful blend of fantasy (vampire fiction, and not the sparkly kind) and romance.  A great read I would highly recommend.

KatSings’ #CBR4 Review #10 – Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James

Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James

DISCLAIMER: This is erotic fiction.  Proceed with due caution.

A good read, not a great one (the writing is a little off, but the story and characters are good). I know this has recently become the IT book to talk about, and I started reading it a few days before EW posted their review.  Not sure if I’ll pick up the rest of the trilogy or not.
